"EB-2 India. This category is expected to remain unchanged or to move very slowly forward (by a week or so) in the short-term. This is mainly caused by the fact that many EB-3 India applicants (there are approximately 60,000 EB-3 India pending cases) are �porting� their priority dates into the EB-2 India category and are thus taking visa numbers.
EB2 India is slowwly becoming EB3 as thousands are porting from EB3 to EB2. Some of them are really worthy of EB2 and some of them are fradulent.
EB2 India applicants should wake up from their celebratio of a few months leap and get ready for slow movement or retro.
Guys wake up and fight to make the porting rules veryu strong if not stop porting. The rule should be if I140 for porting is denied then the applicatnt should loose his/her initial EB3 priority date also as he /she has indicated that he/she is no longer working in the position as described in EB3 labor. This will make sure that fradulent applicants cannot port from EB3 to EB2.
P.S: I know I will get thousands of REDs. I do not care... EB2 I guys wake up.. Time is running out.. EB2 I will very quickly become same as EB3I.

Better do not write and waste someone time. Probably you may loose your GC too if you are not united.

I've been coping with GC related stress by meditating as much as I can. Meditation releases endorphines which helps you calm down and have a clutter free mind. I know it is easier said than done, but it works. I also take meditative walks on weekends. We have trails near our house which take me to deep wooded area away from traffic and everything. I walk about 4-5 miles on weekends. Lately not walking due to cold. I also listen to Deepak Chopra, Joel Osteen, Wayne Dyer on Youtube. Hope this helps.

When you are out of status for more than 6 months you are subject to ban of entry for 3 years to USA. And if you are out of status for more than 1 year you subject to 10 year ban. Again they will ask explanation before taking any action.

I saw CPO status for my EAD status (WIFE'S Status still pending)
My receipt date was 7th July
Also, I485 pending at NSC...WAC receipt

My I-140 was approved by NSC in feb 2007, and my I485 was delivered on aug 10 to TSC.
1. Does anyone think that my case might be transfered to NSC (since I140 was approved there).
2. Can i file for AP without getting recipt for 485 (instead of recipt i am planning to attach the fedex delivery notice)
3. Is there any way i can find whihc center is having my application.

Two things
1. Consultant can be part of job title and/or duties. Key thing is that job must be permanent and full-time.
2. PERM can only be filed for job that are permanent and full time.

I did and I got a response in mail saying there are extremely high volume of cases filed before me, that is why it is taking time.

Love India, gave me the best time.
Came to US for higher education. Love USA.
Not yet in the GC mess, but if I want to stay here, I will have to get in. (Hoping that the problem will be solved by the time I apply :D )
Visited India and love the progress. The final act of moving to India is not always GC, money or lifestyle. It boils down to the family one has in India. Having been away from India for long, don't feel comfortable with relatives anymore. Recently lost my dad, who meant everything to me. Can't think of going back to a place where he is not there anymore!
Good luck to all who decide to go back to India and Good luck to all who decide to stay back in the US.
Those who have come from India (specifically India born) really need lots of luck , perhaps even a miracle, to prevent their GC boats from sinking.

The question is if one has worked as a contractor and got a employment RFE and the company provided a letter stating a full time consultant job, has USCIS rejected such a response?
The AC-21 job offer must be full-time and permanent.

my 485 app was delivered to NSC on 2nd @ 8.26am..
my 140 was approved from TSC.... and no reciept or encashed checks yet!
But are we sure, all our applications will be transferred to TSC? I've heard that the new rule that the apps should be sent to TSC or NSC based on state u live in is gonna take effect only from this week....

For me, since my 140 was approved in TSC, my attorney sent 485 to TSC.
